We are on vacation. Many of you already know this, but I thought I would make it clear to all. We left last Wednesday for Alameda, and spent a few days with Pat and Tim and Jeni and Desiree and Dylan and Lexi and Chloe. (Note to self reading this 20 years from now: you have not forgotten any relatives, Lexi and Chloe are dogs).
Friday we drove to Lake Tahoe, and today is the small memorial service for Marie. It should be a lovely, warm event, a nice way to remember an amazing woman. I don't have my own laptop right now or I would post a few photos of her. The only one I can find right now is this shot from our beach picnic last summer:
